It was on my 60th birthday that I decided to take a new path in life. LuxPen was the manifestation of this decision and it now consumes most of my time. I make pens, fountain pens and other writing accessories by hand in my atelier in Herenthout and I love every minute of it.
Not only do I design and create, I am also an active member of specialised forums, groups and stationery websites. I visit international trade shows and follow lessons on my craft in different cities around the world, continuously enhancing my knowledge. It is also through this network that I frequently get commissioned to make luxurious, high end writing accessories for corporate and private individuals.
I love to explore and find unique, exclusive materials that I can use in my pens. Wood is a material that is prominent in all my creations and I source this from the most renowned suppliers. This attention to detail as well as the quality and exclusivity of the materials is what makes every LuxPen pen a truly unique and cherished piece.
