BillyXClub launched in October 2015 with six perfumes, with an additional two being added in 2017. 

BillyXClub is a down to earth brand that wants to give more depth than other, more commercial brands. It is an expression of moods, lifestyle and personality.

I follow the entire production process - from fragrance compositions to bottle design to packaging and marketing. I do not have a scientific background so I do work together with perfumers on the development of the fragrances. 

The favourite part of my job is the creative part, the developing of the identity of each fragrance and its unique packaging. The range is a colourful mix of bottles but the brand is easily recognisable as the bottles all share the same shape, just with a different finish. 

Each BillyXClub perfume has its own personality, a unique vibe with which its users can identify themselves, an important aspect of my brand vision.

Where does your inspiration come from?

My inspiration can from from a variety of places: sub cultures, music, films, books but also just the atmosphere that only large cities can radiate. 

Where do you pick up your best ideas

I am definitely a city dweller as I love to be amongst people. However I do sometimes like ‘me-time’. I need to find that perfect balance between the two. 

Which (creative) Belgian do you admire?

People that do something with a lot of passion. I find their energy contagious and that instantly makes me happy.

What did you want to be growing up?

I always loved dressing up as a child, so probably something that would allow me to wear a uniform - nurse, doctor...
